Fees & Billing

Fee Schedule

All patients are required to settle their accounts at the end of their consultation. We accept all major credit cards, with the exception of American Express.

An EFTPOS facility is also available for payment via our TYRO terminal. We can process the full payment with a credit card or EFTPOS,transmit the receipt to Medicare electronically and re-swipe your card. The Medicare rebate is then transferred to either your savings or cheque account.

Tyro cannot refund your Medicare rebate into a credit facility-it must be either savings or cheque.

Bulk billing is available for Centrelink concession cardholders and children under 16 for medical services. A reduced GAP is available for students with a valid student card. Please present your current Centrelink concession card or student card to reception for these services. Brief consultations (under 5 minutes) and appointments for vaccinations only will also be bulk billed, the vaccine itself may incur a cost unless eligible for free vaccination (Bulk-billing means that appointment costs are covered by Medicare in full if you have a Medicare card).

Our fees are as follows:

Please note that fees are calculated on the actual duration and content of a consultation rather than the length of appointment booked.

Pathology tests are usually sent to SA Pathology. If you sign the pathology Medicare form, the laboratory will charge no further fee. When you are referred for radiological investigations or specialist opinion you are advised to contact the provider in advance about the fees to be charged.

For new patients, we allow half an hour for the initial appointment: this enables both you and your doctor time to discuss your history.

Missed appointments and cancellations

Please be advised that if a client frequently misses their appointments without contacting the clinic, no further appointments will be made for that client.
